Our Mission
At the ISG, our mission is to create a warm and supportive community where children from all backgrounds feel valued and inspired to learn. We encourage our pupils to be curious, open-minded, and to strive for their personal best—both academically and beyond the classroom.
Guided by our core values, we are committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment where every pupil is supported in reaching their full potential. Through a strong focus on international, global, and cultural awareness, we inspire our students to engage with the world around them.
The Values that guide us
Our values are at the heart of everything we do. They guide how we learn, how we interact with others, and how we navigate challenges. We believe that developing strong personal values helps our pupils grow into confident, thoughtful, and responsible individuals. These values shape not only our school community but also the way our pupils engage with the world beyond ISG.
ISG Personal Values
The eight personal goals of the IPC (International Primary Curriculum) are at the heart of our Early Years and Primary programmes. They help guide our students to become well-rounded and thoughtful learners, ready to tackle challenges with confidence and curiosity.
ISG+ Core Values
Our secondary school builds on the strong foundation of our primary values, guiding students with open-mindedness, positivity, and ambition. We encourage curiosity and respect for different perspectives, foster a supportive environment where challenges are met with confidence, and inspire students to aim high, take ownership of their learning, and strive for success.
Audit Report
An audit team carried out a comprehensive inspection of our school. During the three day visit, inspectors observed lessons, conducted interviews with staff members, pupils, and parents, examined samples of pupils’ work, and analysed documentation regarding assessment and tracking of pupils’ progress.
The audit team reviewed many aspects of the school’s work and looked in detail at the following:
- The focus at all levels on improving the quality of teaching and raising standards and achievement;
- Standards and achievement in the objectives of the curriculum;
- The use of assessment information to cater for pupils of all abilities;
- The way pupils’ progress is tracked to identify individual needs and enhance achievement.
