School lunches
We promote healthy eating at ISG! Students enjoy their lunches together in our light-filled cafeteria. Those who bring their lunches from home are encouraged to practice healthy habits, while students who opt for locally catered hot lunches can enjoy a tasty and balanced warm meal. Read below for more information about ordering hot lunches at school, and guidelines for snacks and drinks.

Hot lunches
Hot lunches can be ordered on a monthly basis. All parents will receive an e-mail with the menu to order lunches for the following month. Parents can choose which day(s) they would like to order lunches for their child(ren).
A vegetarian/halal/lactose-free alternative is available every day at the same cost (a doctor’s note is necessary in order to request the latter option).
Lunches are invoiced at the end of each trimester. ISG’s invoicing policy if your child is ill: we will charge for a hot lunch if the absence is only one day. However, if your child is absent for multiple days due to more severe illness, then hot lunches will not be invoiced.
Snack & drinks
Students must bring a refillable water bottle, labeled with their name. ISG has a water only policy.
All children eat a morning snack – this needs to be a fruit or vegetable snack packed separately from their lunch.
If your child is staying after school (for a club or after school care) you will also need to provide an afternoon snack. This may be fruit, crackers or a biscuit.
For birthday treats, please discuss with your child’s teacher how you would like your child to celebrate. We request that you do not buy gifts or party bags for the class.
