Let's pretend

First we would like to give a warm welcome to sweet Julia who joined our class this week. Julia is from Slovakia and we wish her the best of luck here at ISG!

It was so nice to meet again after the Christmas break. The children missed each other and were very happy to play and learn together again.

We have been learning about the winter season. We sang winter songs, played games related to winter and created our own special snowmen.

Here you can find two songs that we love to sing together :-)

We had a lovely ‘Entry point’ to our new IPC unit- 'Let’s pretend'. The children were so excited to present their favorite book and their favorite character. Thank you dear parents for sending in lovely books and costumes. It was a fun day!

This week we listened to ‘The Gingerbread man’ fairytale. The kids loved it!

We also learned about puppets around the world. We looked at pictures of puppets from many countries and realized there were different kinds of puppets (finger puppets, hand puppets and shadow puppets). The children then made their own beautiful puppets.

On Thursday we celebrated Alexander’s birthday. Alexander turned 3 and was very happy to celebrate with his friends. We wish sweet Alexander all the best and would like to thank him for the delicious fruits and cupcakes.

Have a great weekend everyone, and see you all on Monday.
