Transport unit

First, we would like to give a warm welcome to our new pupil Rianna who joined our class last week. She is a lovely addition to our group and we wish her all the best.

It was so nice to see all the children after the ‘autumn break’. They were all very happy and excited to come back to school, play with their friends and learn new things. We have been painting beautiful autumn trees inspired by the artist Vincent Van Gogh.  Look at the photos below to see the kids in action.

We have been learning two new sounds 'p' and 'i'. Together we made lovely panda bears and igloos!

Our third personal goal for the year is cooperation. Ali and Rianna worked together and decorated our ‘cooperation sign’. Well-done girls! We all enjoyed watching a short movie that demonstrates a creative way to cooperate. Here is the link if you want to show it to your kids again.

Last Friday we said good-bye to Miss Yella. We wished her good luck and gave her a big hug and a nice booklet with our paintings. We would like to thank her again for all that she has done for us.

Lastly, we had our Entry Point to our new IPC unit- Transport. We had so much fun taking our favorite teddy bears on the number 1 tram to Maalte park in Ghent. We played together, we saw many autumn leaves and had a nice picnic.

We are now ready to learn all about transport!

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
