Transport unit and Christmas time

We had a great time learning about transport. Last week was all about boats. We learned the song “row row row your boat” and sat inside hoops with a friend pretending we are rowing our boat down the stream. It was fun! We learned about floating and sinking then went outside to check what is happening when we put different objects into a bowl full of water. The children had a great time!

Our exit point was a lovely trip on a real boat. The kids were very excited they were singing, laughing and listening to the cool captain of the boat!

We learned the ‘c’ sound and played different games to practice all the sounds that we have learned so far. I was delighted to see the progress of your children who many of them didn’t know a word in English few months ago.

We celebrated Anay’s birthday. Anay turned 4 and was very happy to have a party with his friends. We would like to thank him for the delicious cake that he brought and to wish him all the best.

This week was dedicated to Christmas. We decorated our class, read stories, sang songs and even used red little balls during sport lesson so we felt like “Rudolph the red nosed reindeer”.

I would like to wish all of you happy holidays and have a fantastic new year full of health, happiness and love. Enjoy your family and friends see you all in 2016 J
